fin.

.. i don't think i can continue on with this blog for a long while. epic fail.

Monday, April 20, 2009

It's been a rough couple of weeks.. although I've been taking photos.  I don't think I can muster up the energy to post them and to post them daily anytime thereafter.  I'll continue to take photos... it's just a matter of getting them online eventually.

UPDATE TO COME!

i care not to divulge the things that have been going on with me for the past week.  on top of catching a semi-flu from peter (i say semi only because it wasn't as bad as previous attacks, but that may be because i actually took care of myself this time), just thinking of the flurry of other happenings might just cause a mental breakdown.

i think i missed ONE day of taking pics though due to the flu.  i just slept all day, so i guess i didn't miss much.  lol.  i'll update tonight when my thoughts re-align themselves.

Day 054 / 365 - Such Is Life

[insert photo here]
#054

Guess what people?  I'm sick!  YUP. WTF, right?  Peter started feeling sick 2 days or so ago and lo and behold, I caught whatever he has!  Gosh, my body is aching SO SO bad right now because I just got back from the store.  I got some alka-seltzer type pills to hopefully curb this bug, but it tastes heinous!  I also bought a gallon of OJ, chicken noodle soup, & Gatorade.  Debating whether or not to take the Mucinex yet.. I think I'll use that as a last resort.

In addition to body aches, I'm coughing (I never complete got rid of it!) more, sneezing, runny nose, and super duper tired.  WHY ME?  Hopefully this doesn't last as long.. I think I might cry :(  FML if it's the flu!

Oh, I did take a photo though.  It was nice outside today.  Too bad I felt freakin cold in 70 degree weather!  I'm hoping to get it posted tonight, but right now I just really need to lay down.

Day 053 / 365 - Midnight Snack & Nostalgia

#053

My life is rather uneventful.  Today was no exception.  Stayed up late because I had to finish updates on this website.  Woke up late.  Check my e-mails, messages, comments, etc.  I did my sweepstakes, ate some gyoza, & played Call of Duty 4 for a few hours.  I played a lot of the 'know-it-all' quizzes on facebook and worked on getting a 100k+ high score on bejeweled since last weeks scores were cleared.  I also spent a good amount of time reading the news, as I always do everyday.  I don't know why, but I've developed a habit of reading the news, no matter how horrid, stupid, or morbid the story.  I guess I just like to be 'in-the-know' about things and my brain likes to collect a lot of random information.  Anyhow, this story is probably one of the more morbid stories I've read in a while:
Yep, the title says it all.  Anyhow, after my COD4 session, I got really hungry and decided to have a kimchi bowl with some vienna sausage in it.  I probably shouldn't be eating late at night nor should I be drinking out of a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi, but ehh.  I already opened the Pepsi earlier today and I need to drink it as fast as possible before the carbonation is lost :)

While eating, my brother happen to come online and we started chatting.  I left him a comment hoping he would know about a certain song that I've been looking for for a REALLY long time.  I can't find the remixed version.  This song is from the mid 90s so it's hard to come across.  In any case, we started talking about old school songs that we used to love.  Good memories.  I miss the old school rap/hip-hop songs from those days.  My brother reminded me about a song I really loved back then, E-40 "Things Will Never Change."  I'm hoping my brother still has the CD with the song I'm looking for.  I had to smile when he said, "I know I didn't throw [the cd] away because I knew you liked that song."  He also remembered how much I loved the song "Lately" by Divine.  I still listen to it a lot.  Aw, I miss my brother :(

Day 052 / 365 - Guitar Hero & Newsboy Beanie

#052

I finally went and picked up my paycheck today.  After that, I cashed in on a deal I just couldn't resist.  I headed over to GameStop and bought Guitar Hero: Aerosmith + Wired Guitar Controller for $10.  Yep, that's it!  Game = $9.98, Guitar = $.01.  I mostly wanted it for the guitar, but the game makes the deal even more slick!  This is only good for XBOX 360.  Gotta love it!  Now Peter & I can battle it out on GH II, GH III, GH Aerosmith, & Rock Band!  Even the worker was surprised to see it so cheap, "Wow.. that's a really good deal!"

After that I went to Target and browsed around for a bit.  I needed to get out of the house.  I almost made it out of the store without buying anything, but then I saw this newsboy beanie as I was about to head out.  Typical.  So I wore it around a bit while I contemplated on buying it or not.  I ended up buying it of course 'cause I've been wanting one for so long!  Haha.  No more spending money for a while.  Seriously.

Day 051 / 365 - The Fast & The Furious *

#051

I spent the day recovering from the previous night.  No hangover, just one of those days where your body knows the happenings of the night prior.  I had to get my car from Jared's place.  I took Lexi with me as I walked there.  She loves her walks!  Unfortunately, I can't handle walking Lexi & Zeus at the same time, so Zeus stayed with Peter.  Lol.  Apparently, Zeus was just sitting at the top of the stairs after we left.  Peter said he kept crying and punching the door (Zeus has a bad habit of punching the door right before we let them out).  To appease the poor boy, Peter gave him a chew treat.  Spoiled!  I found him happily chewing on his treat once we got back.  Lexi looked so cute in the back of my car.  Haha.  Too bad she shook herself and got fur all over the back :(  I'll have to vacuum it now.

We decided to go watch the new Fast and the Furious movie.  Cyndi said it was pretty good and I've been wanting to watch it, so this was the perfect time.  I used the Fandango codes that I got from a trade I did with someone (I got 4 Fandango codes for 6 sets of coupons) so the movie was FREE!  Free always makes things better!  Haha.  We enjoyed the movie.  I just wish there were more racing scenes.  The first movie was all about cars, but this was more about plot.  I prefer the former.  At least I got to see the better version of my car in action (the Subaru WRX STi).  I forgot to take a photo when we were AT the theater though.  It was surprisingly PACKED!  The photo above is on our way home.  I like the array of colors.

Day 050 / 365 - Pupukahi I Holomua *

#050

It was really really hard for me to get up again today!  I woke up so late.  I had to rush to get this website done before I had to get ready to help out at the luau.  I didn't even go and pick up my paycheck.  I got all the updates done though just in time.  It took me about 3 hours or so to get everything done.  The coding on that website is just so messy... it was frustrating.

Anyhow, today was UNC's annual luau event.  Layne asked me a couple of days prior if I wanted to help out and serve food just so that we could watch the show.  The girl upstairs never fails to park behind my car, so I just decided to walk to the UC.  It was so fricken cold and windy!  All I was wearing underneath my jacket was a t-shirt since the "uniform" was a white t-shirt & dark jeans.  Here's a picture of some of us before the festivities (Chad, Jared, Me, Cyndi).

I ended up serving the vegetarian stew.  How ironic... I would never eat that thing.  Lol!  My back was killing me.  My abs (muscles in general!) are so weak that it can't support my back.  Long periods of standing KILL my back.  At least we got free food and saw the show.  It made me miss home so bad :(  I feel like something was missing though.. the atmosphere wasn't like previous years.. the show was also short (though, that was a welcomed change!).  Perhaps I'm just seeing things from a different perspective this time around?  Been there, done that sort of thing?  Nah... something was definitely missing!

A new addition this year though was the performing of the Haka, pictured above.  I'm not sure if the Haka was ever done in previous years, but it was the first time I saw it in the last 4/5 years.   The boys gave it their all and resonated their energy throughout the room.  I certainly got a kick out of it.  Sad to say, this will probably be the last UNC luau I'll ever see.  It's been a good run.

After the luau, we pre-gamed at Jared's house and hung out for a bit before heading to the after party at the Penalty Box.  Jody drove up from Denver and most of us were feeling good by the time she arrived.  The Box was packed with Hawaii kids.  I got in a good amount of dancing.  Peter finally got there around 12ish.  He got me another vodka cranberry, but I just didn't want to drink anything anymore.  All in all, it was a good night!

Day 049 / 365 - Hat Trick *

#049

After the Nuggets game, I'm not quite sure why, but I was still able to stay up late into the night.  In the early morning hours, I managed my first "Hat Trick" in my sweepstakes run!  A hat trick happens when you win 3 prizes (or more) in a day.  I am so happy I got these wins!  March was such a horrible month for me, sweepstakes wise.  At least April started off on the right foot. I won:
  • $20 Coke MasterCard (It's actually loaded with $25!)
  • FREE Single Sized Mars Candy Bar
  • T-mobile/CCL Branded Soccer T-shirt
I also received one of my free candy bar coupon in the mail (I've won 5 or 6 times so far, I think).   Other than that, my day was rather uneventful.  I spent most of it working on websites and editing our pictures from the Nuggets game, which I've posted on Facebook.

Day 048 / 365 - Korean BBQ Dinner & Nuggets Vs. Jazz

#048

And again, we came back super late and I just vegged out once we got home.  But anyway, It was really really hard to get out of bed today.  I managed to make a website that I designed live, but it wasn't before long that I had to get ready to go to Denver.  Peter said it was our "date night"  :)

On our way to Denver, we saw/heard another accident.  This car rear-ended one of those moving truck type of vehicles.  It never fails... we always seem to come across accidents on our way to Denver.  We've actually witnessed quite a few of these accidents happen.  TWO times, if we were driving any faster, we would've been hit!  Crazy.  There was another accident on I-25 that caused a good amount of traffic.  It took us forever to get to the restaurant, but we made it!

Peter's mom ordered the food while we were still on the road, so when we got to the Korean restaurant (Seoul BBQ, i think?), the food was already there for the most part.  I've never had Korean BBQ/Yakiniku before, although I've always wanted to try.  THIS WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!  The food was absolutely delicious.  The Kalbi was super duper moist, soft, & flavor full.  There were moments where I just sat there debating whether or not to swallow 'cause I could very well puke right then and there.  I ate so much I literally wanted to puke, but it was so good.  It was also nice to see Peter's mom again.  I've been bugging him to go see her because it's been well over a month & they live in the same state!  Lol.

After dinner, Peter & I made our way to the Pepsi Center to watch the Denver Nuggets vs. Utah Jazz game.  $49 for 2 tickets, 2 t-shirts, & 2 beers + Fees ~$64.  Not too shabby!  Before the game we headed to the store.. Peter bought some Allen Iverson Jerseys for us (even though he's not with the nuggets anymore!) and a hat for himself.  It was fun!  We had a rough start, but we pulled through and beat the Jazz!  I'd definitely like to see a play offs game.  We're #2 in the West, baby!

Day 047 / 365 - Spaghetti Dinner & A Movie

#047

I unintentionally fell asleep again before I could post this picture.  Lol.  It happens quite often.  Anywho, I spent a good portion of the day doing website work.  Peter called and asked if I could cook some spaghetti for dinner.  I've never cooked spaghetti before, lol.  BUT  I did it anyway.  We had some leftover Prego sauce in the fridge and a can of diced tomatoes.  I also chopped up some onions (OMG this was the worst!) that made me tear up sooo bad that I was cutting the onions with my eyes closed.  I pretty much did want to cry.  Lol.  I added some bay leaves, salt, pepper, brown sugar, & ground beef.  For the pasta, I added butter & salt.  It was a little sweet, but altogether the spaghetti was a success! Add some Texas Toast garlic bread to that and everything comes together.  I love garlic bread!

After dinner we watched "Twilight" since Peter bought the DVD for me the night prior.  We were not impressed.  Lol.  WTF.  The actors/actresses were horrible.  The special effects were crappy.  The lines were overly cheesy as hell (or maybe the actors sucked on that as well?) and the plot was lackluster.  The movie wasn't bad, but I wouldn't say that it deserved all the hype.  Kinda like Slumdog Millionaire.  WAY TOO OVER HYPED.  I know that the following movies will fill-in the gaps from this first movie, but my standards/expectations will definitely be lower in the next films.  Perhaps I will be impressed then?  Maybe the books will be better.. I need to get on that.

Day 046 / 365 - New Pair Of Jeans

#046

I did some website work today and watched the last episode of "Boys Over Flowers."  It's done, finished, fin.... SAD!  The last 2 episodes were pretty weak though compared to all the previous ones.  I find that a lot of Korean drama shows have lack-luster endings.  I still loved the series a lot though.  Hopefully Kim Hyun Joong will act in another series sometime soon :)

I got really bored as late afternoon approached.  I've been pretty productive lately and find that I've been getting bored quicker after I'm done with what I'm doing.  I need to start finding things to occupy myself.  A part-time job maybe?  Yes, I definitely need another one.  In the meantime, Peter & I went to the mall tonight in search for... who knows what since I told him I was really bored.  I ended up buying a new pair of jeans from PacSun for $9.99.  Gotta love them deals!  Peter bought some jeans & a hoodie for himself too.  The photo above was taken while I was sitting, waiting for Peter in Zumiez.  After that we had some Chinese food for dinner & got 1/2 off pizza.  The lady asked me if I was Chinese, lol.  The last time, the guy that works there asked me if I was, Thai.  Still waiting for that 'mainlander' to correctly guess my ethnicity.  Haha.

We then made our way to Wal*mart to get some things.  Peter bought me the Twilight DVD.  I thought it was funny since all the DVDs were behind a glass case & I had to get it behind the register and pay for it there too.  Peter finally got an iron and an ironing board.  He also bought some nice plates for Sushi 1 for really cheap!  Ok, time to play some Call of Duty 4.

Day 045 / 365 - Twas Destiny That Bound Us

#045

"If it was destiny that can be forgotten so easily, would it have been a little more endurable?"

I was really intending to post this last night, but then I unintentionally fell asleep.  Ji Hoo is such a handsome one.  Kim Hyun Joong or Hyun Joong Kim (his real name) is my new fav!  Lol.  Thanks to Peter, I love me some Korean boys.  Why is it that I was never interested in Korean boys up until I met Peter??  I was missing out!  I thought maybe I was just attracted to Hyun Joong's character on the show, but I watched interviews he did and I came to like him even more.  He has witty remarks and has a sense of humor.  Haha.  Not to mention he can sing & dance (he's the lead singer of the Korean group SS501)!  Yummy.

Anywho, I spent yesterday finishing up the filipino version of "My Girl."  I'm thinking I should've watched the Korean one.  The actors they used in the filipino version just irritated me because of their "over" acting.  BUT I was most excited to watched episode 24 of "Boys Over Flowers" in which Hyun Joong acts as Ji Hoo.  I'd really love for Jan Di and Ji Hoo to end up together, but the people I pull for never pull through for me.  Boo.  The last episode is today.  It's actually already up on websites, but hasn't been subbed (subtitled) yet.  I wish I could understand Korean so I could watch it already!  After this show is over, I'm gonna need to start up another show.  My Lovely Samsoon, East of Eden, Full House, Glass Slipper... hm, decisions decisions.  I know, it's funny... I rarely watch TV nor ever think of it really, but I can watch TV series online like an addict when it finally crosses my mind to watch one.  & Here's another shot I took of my screen and Hyun Joong ... you know... just for good measure :)

Day 044 / 365 - Taking A Walk

#044

I like the "old school" feel that I gave the photo.  World, meet my beautiful little family :)  Though, you'll have to excuse Peter & I's unkempt hair.  Lol.  It was really nice out today so we took the dogs out for a walk.  The dogs really needed it since they haven't played outside in a while due to the snow.  I can't let them play since they'll get all dirty.  They just love being outside, especially Zeus.  During their walk we stopped by 7-11 to get some slurpees.  They had a new Hawaiian Punch flavor so we decided to try that.  BAD IDEA.  It had such a nutty/weird after taste.  We ended up throwing them away before we even got home.  Ahhh, what a waste.  Never going to try that flavor again!

Day 043 / 365 - My doggy

#043

*EDIT*

I didn't have an entry for today since... I was a bit tipsy by the time the night was winding down.  I spent most of the day watching "My Girl" yet again, but Peter did bring me some orange soda during his break :D  Yay!  I haven't had soda in a REALLY long time since I've been drinking water & orange juice the whole time I was sick.  Anyway, later that night, Peter & I went to the bar to have a few drinks.  Peter loves his Irish Car Bombs :)  After the bar, we had a really late dinner at Village Inn.  We love their country fried steaks!  I was feeling really good after that.  Haha.  I wanted to play some video games, but that never came to be.

Day 042 / 365 - Snow Play

#042

Earlier today, I met up with Peter & Jenny at Roma's to have some lunch.  Mmm, caroli!  After that, I went home real quick and gathered my stuff.  This is why I love snow.  I met up with Owen, Maren, & her friends at Nottingham field and played in the snow for a lil bit.  Owen & I were hitting up this barrel on MY snowboard.  Haha.  It was fun!  My expression in the photo says it all!  Hopefully the snow holds up and we can go there and check it out again.  Wish I wasn't coughing so much.. I probably would've drank more cocoa and whiskey.

I woke up 4:30AM, I'm surprised I'm not tired yet.  I've spent most of the day watching "My Girl" -- the filipino version.  I finally found a site with all the episodes in one place.  I thought of watching the Korean version, but at least with this one I can understand what they're saying without any subtitles. The girl irritates me, but the guy.. he's not so bad looking ;)

Day 041 / 365 - Winter Storm

#041

A winter storm at the end of March?  The weather gods sure have strange humour.  After experiencing 70 degree days during "winter" months, I was ready to give up hope that snow would ever come again this season.  Alas, we got at least 10" of snow!  I didn't actually measure, but we got a lot.  These photos were from early on in the day.  My car will need a washing again.

I was looking forward to making a snowman the whoooole day.  I was anxiously waiting for Peter, but then he got off of work late and was tired when he got home.  He took a nap and it was dark out by the time he woke up.  SOOO no snowman for me :(  Maybe tomorrow?

I went outside earlier tonight though and took the dogs out to play in the snow for a little bit.  Zeus LOVES the snow and it's so cue to see him just munch it all up.  He just lays there and eats the snow.  I started playing in the snow by myself and shortly thereafter Peter made me go inside 'cause it was cold and I was still coughing.  FAIL again.  Gosh, I've just been so bored lately.

I did manage to bake cupcakes this afternoon though and they are absolutely delicious!  2 dozen cupcakes should last us a while.  Hehe.  I should've put more frosting though.  Tomorrow... not quite sure what I have planned just yet.

Day 038-40 / 365 - A Productive Day

Day #040   Wednesday, March 25, 2009

Last night, I had to get up for a little bit because my coughing was a little out of control.  I was falling asleep while on the computer though and ended up falling asleep in the living room till 5:30AM.  YAY for 8 hours of sleep!!

& So began my productive day.  When I woke up, I started folding ALLLLL the laundry that's been collecting for WEEKS now and put it all away.  The only thing left is socks, but that's a quick fix.  I swept the kitchen/bathroom up.  Put the rest of the dishes into the dishwasher and will wash them once it's full later today.  Then I vacuumed!  I had to empty the canister about 4 times 'cause there's so much dog hair.  There's just sooo much hair.... it drives me crazy!  I totally needed this.  It feels much much cleaner now.

After all of that, I sat down and had myself a cup of cocoa.  This was the most work I've done in weeks.  I'm FINALLY starting to really feel like I'm getting over this cough.  Hopefully that didn't jinx it!  Now I just have some website work to do and I'm thinking of baking cupcakes later.

I just got this e-mail from my Direct Marketing professor.  I guess we're in the DMEF newsletter.  I'm like... the shortest one in the whole group!  At least I'm standing next to Jay Leno.  Too bad the pic wasn't bigger.  Oh, I also got a surprise win in the mail today.  It's my biggest win this month (it's been a super slow month sweepstakes wise!) so I'll take it!  Not really my kind of movie, so I'm giving it to Peter :)

Win(s):  Role Models DVD from DVDlounge.com

Day #039   Tuesday, March 24, 2009

Peter & I were supposed to go to Denver today and have dinner with his family.  I was getting ready and when Peter got here he said "they forgot."  Shoot, I was already 95% ready and now... nowhere to go.  I was pretty delirious at this point since I was running on 2 hours of sleep (not continuous either!).  Yes, damn the coughing!  Damn it to hell.

Anyway, instead of making the long drive down we headed out for a few before I fell asleep (it was bound to happen!) so the day wouldn't be a total waste.  We did some shopping and I bought the little pieces above.  A pair of sweatpants, a dress (bubble dress, i think?), & a nice top.  I needed something nice to wear on the days we go down to Denver and I'm quite satisfied with my purchases.  It's been a while since I've bought something for myself :)  Best part, everything was only $20.00!

After shopping we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for a late lunch/early dinner.  After we got in, sure enough the crowd followed us and BBW was packed within 15 minutes of being there.  It's always empty when we enter a restaurant, but once we're there a whole crowd of people come.  I made sure to get in my orders for .40 cent wings before everyone!

Shortly after we got home, I knocked the f&ck out!  Hallelujah!  ANNND I was actually able to sleep for 5/6 hours straight for the first time in a week.

Day #038   Monday, March 23, 2009

At Patrick's Irish Pub/Bar.  The home of $3.00 Irish Car Bombs, all day, everyday.  No drinks for me though, I was stuck coughing myself silly.  No surprise there!  Monday was Owen's 6th year serving as a U.S. Marine and hence officially marking the end of his contract with the government.  This should be a cause for celebration no doubt!  He served his time on U.S. soil and in Iraq.  Owen-- a well deserved JOB WELL DONE!

Day 031-37 / 365 - I haven't quite thrown in the towel

Have I mentioned I'm still sick? I haven't given up on this project quite yet ;)

#037   Sunday, March 22, 2009

We were supposed to go to Denver today, but that never came to be.  We've been meaning to go for the past 3 weeks.  Haha.  Anyway, I tried fruitlessly for 4+ hours to sleep.  I just decided to get up.  I wasn't getting much sleep for the past few days anyway so I was kind of used to it.  My coughing spells were just too much and everytime I would *almost* fall asleep, I'd just wake myself up by coughing more.

Peter & I made a run to the grocery store and I bought myself some Extra Strength Mucinex to nuke my cough away.  I also bought Ricola, orange juice, & lemon drops!  Hopefully it will be enough to keep my cough at bay and make it go away soon.  I'm hoping my cold hasn't developed into bronchitis like it did years ago.  I don't think it has though.  This time doesn't nearly hurt as much as before and I've always been one to take a long time to get rid of my cough.

I pretty much stayed up for 24 hours straight yet again (I must've done it 3 times this week!) because I just couldn't sleep.  Yes, I was pretty miserable this week.  Peter was playing video games all day so I suggested we watch a movie.  We watched "Across The Universe" since he got it for me for Christmas.  Uhm.. I can't really tell you what it's about because I was pretty much falling asleep during the movie.  It was a pretty slow storyline and didn't do much for me except make me want to sleep, which I am grateful for!  I think you have to be stoned or high on something to thoroughly enjoy this... As the movie progressed it got weirder and weirder.

#036   Saturday, March 21, 2009

This was emotion overload day.  But uh so.. BOYS OVER FLOWERS!!  There were 21 episodes available, each an hour or more long.  I watched every single episode in less than 2 days!  Ahahah.  If you know me really well... it should be known that I get addicted to Asian drama series fairly easily.  As in, I watch it like an addict.  Filipino dramas are the worst because they are months and months long and take DAYS to finish.

Anyway, so about BOF... I am so fricken INLOVE with JiHoo (real name: Kim Hyun Joong)!!  Lol.  I have no idea why.  In any other circumstance, I don't think I would be attracted to him, but I am.  This show is corny as hell & I loves it!  I want JiHoo & JanDi to be together, but I doubt this will happen.  UGH.

There's something about Asian boys in suits, jackets, sweaters, and plain just dressed up and clean-cut looking.  ITS HOTT!  No wonder I love the fact that Peter dresses up for work everyday now :D  Hehe.  Mmmm Korean boys... Yummy.

The photo above is a page out of a photography book Peter got me for our 1 year anniversary/Valentines Day.  It's a collection of photos around the theme of "LOVE."  It's quite fitting actually.

#035   Friday, March 20, 2009

I developed this pattern of falling asleep during the afternoon and waking up at night.  NOT good.  At least when I woke up, Peter said he left some PHO for me to eat :)  I didn't know there was hoisin sauce in the fridge so I just ate it plain.  It was still yummy though and good for my throat!

Being that I slept during the afternoon/night again, I started myself on watching "Boys Before Flowers" or "Boys Over Flowers" whichever title.  Hope recommended it to me and damnit I should not have started watching this show!!  It is like crack cocaine.

#034   Thursday, March 19, 2009

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I was unable to sleep all night.  Sooo... as a thank you to Peter for taking care of me, I cooked some breakfast for us.  Bacon, eggs, & rice!  The funny thing is, neither of us were hungry.  Haha.  We ended up eating this for a late lunch instead.

I did a bunch of website work that I had to catch up on while I was sick.  It's nice to know that I don't have to leave my house to do work.  Haha.  The mileage on my car is a testament to that fact (~2,500 miles).  The funny thing is, 1/5th of that mileage or possibly even more accumulated during Teri's visit here last month.  I haven't filled my gas tank up since then and I am still at 3/4 of a tank ;)

#033   Wednesday, March 18, 2009

My handsome Zeus.  I wasn't able to sleep the night before.  Too many things going through my mind.  I haven't been able to sleep much also due to all my coughing spells.  I was able to talk to my best friend though (Hope) and we had a nice long conversation.  We don't talk much, but it's that things always pick up where they left off.  It seems as if you've never even spent that time away from each other.  Overall, it was just nice to catch up and she get advice from my BFF.

St. Patrick's Day.  Unfortunately for me, while others were out celebrating, I spent the night at home all by my lonesome.  I thought it wouldn't be wise to spend the night out again being that I was still sick and nothing seemed to be helping.  I managed to fall asleep in the living room for a good portion of the night and this was my view.

#031   Monday, March 16, 2009

I've been eating some RAW honey in an effort to help bring some soothing relief to my throat.  It helped for a moment, but its effects were not long-term.

Day 022-30 / 365 - Alas, I Am Caught Up!

Ya'll ready for this huge update?  I'm still sick, but what the hey.  The boyfriend nursed me back to health and I'm in a better state of consciousness now.  If you read through everything, you must be really interested in my life or just plain bored out of your mind.

Also, I didn't take very many pictures of when I was actually "out & about" since I didn't want to bring my dSLR with me so you'll just have to read what I did that day ;)

#030   Sunday, March 15, 2009

Worst day this past week!  Going out last night was probably not the best idea.  I could not fall asleep for the life of me.  Between all the coughing spells, I was praying I would just fall asleep from exhaustion, but after 12PM rolled out and I was still not sleeping, I basically wanted to cry :(  Again, Peter & I were supposed to go down to Denver, but clearly, I could not.

My body aches were getting worse.  Sharp pains made their way throughout my body.  My right arm hurt and still does.  The only reason I can think of that could cause this was throwing darts last night.  Throwing darts for crying out loud!!  Am I that sick?!  The whole motion of throwing darts fits perfectly into all the spots that hurt.  Strange.  Anyway, Peter went out to get me more medicine and orange juice.  He basically took care of me all day and made sure I was ok.

At the risk of being mushy,  I have to state that Peter is such a great boyfriend and I'm so so grateful for him.  I felt pretty miserable and cranky, but finally fell asleep after he gave me medicine.  I didn't wake up until 10:30pm and yes, now I'm awake.  The upside to being this sick, my abs are getting a great workout!

P.S.  I love my red sweater dress (in the photo).  It's kept me very warm and is probably the best $5.50 I've ever spent on anything.

#029     Saturday, March 14, 2009

Around 12:30pm, I woke up to Peter and was surprised to see him there.  He's usually at work around this time.  He said he was on his break so I went back to sleep.  He wakes me up again and said, "I made some chicken noodle soup for you, it's on the stove."  Awww yay!  I have the best boyfriend, ever!  I don't think many girls can say that their boyfriend cooks them chicken noodle soup from scratch when they're sick :]  I loved it.  When I finally decided to wake up it was the first thing I went to.  It was delicious!

The soup definitely made me feel better (placebo effect maybe?!).  Later that night, I felt a little better so we went to a 'fiesta' to celebrate Peter's co-worker's son's birthday.  We were the only asians/white people there.  Hahah.  It was fun though and different.  The whole vibe definitely reminded me of Filipino parties.  I was Peter's DD of course and we decided to go to Tyler's house afterwards.

One word describes Tyler's room:  WESTERN!  Everything was like from the old west.  Lasso, cowboy boots, cowboy hats, animal photos, everything.  He busted out his guns (real ones) and everyone was playing with them.  I'm not too comfortable with loaded guns and alcohol induced fun mixed into one picture, so I was cautious.  I did play with the cowboy belt and the broken gun though.  He also had a bunch of knives.  Too bad he doesn't have a huge machete knife like my grandpa's used to have.  Lol.  When we came home, I had another bowl of Peter's soup.  I also OWNED people on COD4.  I averaged about 20 kills a game ;)

#028    Friday, March 13, 2009

My health was still on the decline, I guess this was an unlucky day for me.  I went over this in my previous entry.  I spent approximately 1 hour taking a nice super hot shower in hopes that that would help me feel better.  I drew a heart in the mirror.  Hard to get a clear shot when your lens is fogging up.  I pretty much made the bathroom into a sauna & this is what you get.

I quite fancy this picture.  Now I wish I edited it at a bigger resolution so I could print it.  I don't know where I got the title either, but I like it!  Lollipop hearts & rainbow colored kisses ;)

#027    Thursday, March 12, 2009

Firefighter, ya gotta hose Peter down 'cause his face is on fire!  Lol.  I was still sick (can't you tell by how I look?!), but we went out to dinner in Westminster to meet up with Marc & Sushmita.  We rarely ever see Marc now that he lives in Washington D.C. so I had to bring myself to go out.  We had dinner at Rock Bottom and I had buffalo wings.  It's always the safest bet for me.  I don't mind either... I love buffalo wings!  It's the one spicy thing I will endure.

It was great seeing Marc and his gf.  Ashley also flew in from Hawaii and Owen and Maren joined as well.  It's always good to see old friends.

#026    Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Lexi Baby, you gonna help mommy get all better?  I slept all day.  Quite literally.  Lexi was there with me the whole time, sleeping on the bed with me.  Her radar ears would go off everytime she heard a noise and started doing her mini-barks when she heard the mailman come.  Such a good little guard puppy.  & yes, Lexi is pretty much the same size as me :)

#025     Tuesday, March 10, 2009

I started getting body aches at this point and I could feel myself getting sicker and sicker.  So unfortunate that I had to be sick... we got a little bit of snow overnight and I wasn't able to play in it.  I love snow!  I took this photo as a long-exposure with my shutter open for 15 seconds.  The light in the background is from street lights reflecting off a roof.

#024     Monday, March 9, 2009

I can't really recall what I did this day.  I don't think I did much of anything actually.  I was supposed to pick up my paycheck, but the girls upstairs kept parking behind me and I eventually gave up.  I also started to feel my throat getting worse and worse at this point.  I'm also pretty sure I did a bunch website work.  Anywho, the moon was out and shining bright :)

#023   Sunday, March 8, 2009

Large pepperoni pizza from Papa John's for $8.50 (that's w/ tax included!) is the only thing we order!  PJ's is probably my favorite pizza place, but all that cheesiness probably did me wrong the following day.  Dairy causes more mucus build-up!  Boo.  Oh well.  Peter & I was supposed to go to church down in Denver, but we ended up sleeping all day!

I finally woke up and proceeded with my Lord of the Rings marathon (all extended versions at that!).  I finished up disc 2 of The Two Towers since I attempted to watch it after the house party in the weee morning hours.  Later, I found myself laid out on the couch and waking up to a blue screen and the sunshine creeping in.  Whoops.  At least I finally finished my marathon after we ate this pizza :)  Sadly, I wanted to watch the trilogy all over again.

#022   Saturday, March 7, 2009

Smile with your eyes, sweetie.  My dear little Lexi with Mo the monkey.  Lexi is such a princess.   She sits/lays prim and proper just like one as well.  I took this photo right before Peter came to pick me up so that we could head out to Nick's going away party.  I haven't been to a house party in SO long and I was without internet at this point, so a party was definitely a welcomed event in my book.

This party was probably the first non-Hawaii party I've been to in YEARS.  Nick & his boys were well beyond drunk.  Maren left before we came & Owen disappeared shortly after our arrival with the gang.  This HUGE hispanic guy was hitting on me and Peter was ready to fight.  LOL.  Oh boy.  That would've been interesting.  I was talking to some random guy and he must've got the wrong idea because he saw me with Peter and asked, "Do you even know that guy?"  Me, "That guy?  Oh yeah.. of course I know him.  HE'S MY BOYFRIEND!"  The guy had a surprised/awkward look on his face.  It was pretty classic to say the least.  Good times, but unfortunately this party caused my demise the rest of the week.

Day 029 / 365 - Still Sick, But I'm A Winner

[insert photo #029 here]

I know... such a cop out, right?  Haha.  Well I promise you, I am STILL taking photos.  This stubborn cold (I HOPE it's just a cold) of mine just won't cease to exist.  Yesterday was actually the WORST I've been.  I can't say much for today yet since I am just 8 1/2 hours into the day  (It is currently 8:30 AM).  A portion of that time, an hours worth, was spent taking an extremely long hot shower.

My sinuses were SO clogged, my eyes and head hurt and I could not breathe.  My body felt overwhelmingly hot and ached all over.  I was basically miserable at that point.  The shower did help a bit, but not for as long as I would've liked.  I did the dishes in hopes that being semi-active would help and it did at the time.  I felt shiteous again shortly thereafter.  I also had to get all this webwork done for a website so I crunched through that for 2 1/2 hours.  Now I'm just sitting here waiting for my sinuses to clear up, just a tad so that falling asleep will be as painless as possible.  Oh yes, I slept all day yesterday and my inability to breathe has kept me up until now.

The sun kissed the night away hours ago.  It looks like I will be sleeping all day again today.  I already played most of my IWG's (instant win games).. LOSER messages all around.  It's been a pretty 'dry' March for me, which I don't mind because February was good to me.  I did receive this in my e-mail yesterday though:

Congratulations Maria on claiming your prize.

This is an official winner notification for the Wrigley Extra Slim Pack Sweepstakes promotion you participated in on MySpace.com. Your prize consists of one (1) $75 Live Nation Concert Pack - Includes the ability to download six (6) songs and to obtain two (2) general admission/lawn tickets for a show held at one of the select Live Nation owned and operated venues in the United States through December 31, 2009. To redeem your prize, go to http://www.livenation.com/concertpack and use the following code:
XXXXXX

Thank you,
Wrigley Extra Slim Pack Sweepstakes promotion services

I guess this marks my first "Daily" win.  I now have 3 of these concert packs (2 of them from a previous Wrigley's promotion) and I haven't seen any worthwhile concert just yet.  They say they roll out the summer concerts around April though, so maybe someone good will perform :)  Nothing like free concerts!  Oh, a Denver radio station (same one I missed a call from a month ago!) left me a message yesterday as well.  I won two tickets to a movie.. I don't remember the title though, but I don't think I'll pick it up.  I'm not sure why I entered it?  Whoops.  Haha.  Peter & I haven't even picked up our movie passes from the other radio station either (we both won a pair of tickets to 2 different movies).

Win(s):  $75 Live Nation Concert Pack, 2 movie tickets

Sick Days

I'm sorry.. I've been M.I.A. ... I'm just sick is all. I'm thinking this is what I get for surrounding myself with people on Saturday. I was just saying too that I haven't been sick in a really long time! I think 90% of that is because I am rarely around people and don't share drinks/food with people, etc. I don't have the best immune system in the world. I was always the one prone to getting sick :(

I knew I shouldn't have drank that person's Red Bull! Ugh. There was no other chaser, no other choice but beer. Then my throat started hurting real bad, started getting body aches, started to get feverish. I've been in bed all day and I'm really hoping to get better by tomorrow. We're supposed to have dinner with Marc in Denver! The sneezing spells just started. My throat is getting more and more itchy. I really hope I don't start coughing. That'll be the death of me. Once I start coughing, it takes weeks, even months for my cough to go away. Hopefully it won't be the case *cross fingers*

I'm still taking pictures.. I'll post them once I start feeling better.

Day 021 / 365 - That Hat Is Cleeeaaan

#021

So yes, that toothache was horrible.  I wasn't able to sleep until 12:30PM today.  Not to mention, it wasn't a great sleep.  Time was going by sooo slow and I wasn't comfortable at all.  Ugh.  At least I was finally able to sleep.  While I was up, at least I was able to get all this website work done.

I was pretty bored once I got up... instead of sweepstakes, I decided to put some make-up on since I haven't in a while.  Haha.  I took some photos & I liked how this one turned out.  I was trying to work on using "shadows" and what not, but I haven't gotten around to editing those yet.  I wore Peter's hat & it just reminded me of this random guy coming up to me once and saying, "Hey, where'd you get that hat?  That hat is CLEAAAAN!"

Day 020 / 365 - Taking A Drive To Fort Collins

#020

I meant to post this yesterday, but I was attacked by a major toothache :(  Pain pain pain all over my face.  Ugh.  I hate toothaches, but I think I've grown accustomed to them.

Yesterday, after Peter got off of work, we took a drive to Fort Collins so that he could deposit money into his bank account.  On the way there, I had this huge urge to "Make It Rain" in the car with that whole stack of $10 bills he had (It was thick).  Haha.  While we were in FoCo, we stopped by Pho Duy and had Pho for a late lunch/early dinner.  Mmmm, meatball pho!  I think this was one of the more tastier batches that I've had.  After pho, we went and got some BOBA!!  I LOVE BOBA.  You have no idea.  Lol.  I decided to try something else for the first time (I'm not very adventurous when it comes to different foods/flavors) and got myself a white chocolate snow boba.  I'm SO glad I got it!  It was delicious, but it was the root of my horrible toothache :(

It's cold/sweet foods that usually give me the worst toothaches and this one did me good.  We went to the mall after and after 2 stores, I needed to go home.  Painkillers, salt water solution, numbing liquid.. nothing worked.  I couldn't sleep and I basically could feel the pain all the way to my brain.  I think I'll just stick to soft foods for a while.  I was pretty miserable last night.

Win(s):  Candy Bar from Mars

Day 019 / 365 - My Subie Got A Rub Down

#019

World, meet my sexy Subie.  We first met in mid-September and the very same day, I took her home.  Ever since I've had her, I've taken her snowboarding, to the mountains, Colorado Springs, and all over Denver.  However, it wasn't until today that I finally gave her the love and attention that she deserves and gave her her very FIRST bath, ever.

After I soaped my car up and washed it down, the dirt that collected over the months was STILL there.  It would look like it was gone when it was wet, but when it dried, it still looked dirty.  I was scared all the grime wouldn't come off :(  BUUUT I just wet my car again and wiped her down with my shammy thing & that fixed everything up soo good.  My Subie is now sparkling clean once again.  I also washed her close to sunset, so no watermarks for me!  I was waiting all day for the girls upstairs to move their cars so that I could pull mine up into the driveaway, but that didn't happen till way later in the afternoon.  I guess it worked out for the best.  Now I just have to clean & vacuum her insides.  I'll save that for tomorrow.

Anywho, Marc P. just called me and he'll be in town next week!  Aww.  He wants to meet up in Denver and have some Korean BBQ for dinner.  Yum!  Hopefully Peter can take the half day off on Friday.  Ashley K. will also be in town so it'll be a nice get together :)

Day 018 / 365 - The Stash

#018

Peter & I have extreme sweet tooths... Haha.  We just love sweets way too much.  It's pretty ridiculous!  This little stash isn't even EVERYTHING that we have stocked up :P  There's a good mix of things in here though:
  • Fruity Snacks
  • Li Hing Mui Covered Candy
  • Chocolate
  • Li Hing Mui Seed
  • Mochi Crunch/Arare
  • Caramel
Anywho, today was another warm day in Colorado, but I spent it all inside ;)  Hehe.  I fell asleep on the living room floor for a little over an hour.  I woke up and caught up on my sweepstakes.  I also added some sweeps to my list of dailies.  Haven't really won anything yet this month... it seems like everyone else is cashing in though!  Hopefully there's some goodies for me this month :D

Win(s): Mike & Ike Candy, Chocolate Candy Bar from Mars

Day 017 / 365 - Boring Days

#017

Wow, I really didn't know what to do with myself today.  I was so bored.  I started watching TV.  That rarely happens willingly.  Lol.  I rarely watch TV just to watch, but I was and still am very bored.  I'm watching this Forensic Files show thing.  At least now I know how to "fake" the time of death if I were ever to murder someone by slowing down the process of rigor mortis.  Hahaha ;)  Another crazy story was one of parents brutally murdering their daughter & the mother could be heard saying, "Die my daughter, die."  This was a supposed "Honor Killing."  I guess it's something they still do in the Middle East?  I just can't imagine what goes through a parents mind to kill their own child.  o_O

Anywho,  I just ended up editing one set of photos that I took while Teri was here.  I edited the photos from our hiking trip to Boulder.  I don't know what I'd do without Photoshop.

Day 016 / 365 -Wal*Mart & The Dark Knight

#016

Attack of the coupons!  Yeah, so in a case of extreme laziness, I didn't post this yesterday!  My bad.  I did take the photo last night though before Peter & I's trip to Wal*mart.  We got a bunch of stuff, a lot of it candy & junk food ;)  Just look at the coupons!  Lol.

FREE:
  • (2) 2 Liters of Dr. Pepper (Diet or Regular)
  • (1) Nabisco Cracker Product up to $4.49
  • (1) Kraft Cheese Product up to $3.99
  • (1) Planters Snack Product up to $4.99
  • (2) Pace Products up to $4.00
  • (1) $1.00 off Campbell Product

Yeah, I love coupons!  Too bad the lady didn't know what the hell she was doing.  She totally entered the coupons wrong and entered their values BEFORE taxes and didn't use the full value of the coupon.  UGH.  Oh well... Peter was already irritated, so we just left.  Not too shabby though.  I wish we planned out going grocery shopping though instead of going spontaneously.  I would've printed out more coupons.  Haha.

After that, we watched "The Dark Knight."  It was my first time watching it and I thought it was pretty good.  I just thought it was really strange watching Heath Ledger in his final performance.  He was a great actor and had so much ahead of him still :(  Ah well, it was a good movie.

Day 015 / 365 -The Duchess & Sixlets

#015

I just finished watching "The Duchess."  I won the DVD from Access Hollywood last month and didn't watch it until now.  I must say, I enjoyed it!  I always find it amazing how women back then were able to live in their husbands shadows and 'do as they say.'  I don't think I could do it!  Haha.

Anyway, today was spent doing the rest of the laundry and folding clothes.  I also ate a bunch of Sixlets.  I LOVE sixlets, but they're not very easy to find for some reason!  I finally found them last week at walmart for $1.00 a bag.  Yay.  I made a deal with Peter and now he has to buy me MORE!  Hehe.  For now, I'm just trying to eat a quick dinner before Peter gets off of work.  He asked me if I wanted to go out for some drinks & I haven't eaten ALL day.  My stomach hates me, so I'm trying to get my fill before going out.

Day 014 / 365 -Two Become One

#014

"For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh" (Genesis 2:24)

Like pieces of a puzzle, the two will become one.  I've always wanted to attempt this shot.  The thought unfortunately crossed my mind once the sun passed over mountain tops... leaving me in the dark.  Hence, my lighting was all wrong and I would've liked the heart-shape to be more defined, but I will have more days to try again :]  Once I get the perfect shot, I would like to turn it into a print.  I've never really printed out my photography.  I don't know why, but I think I'll start doing so.

I also told Peter that I'd like to take photography classes in the future.  I have the eye & the photoshop skills to get by, but I think I will be 100x better if I actually learn how to apply the right settings & techniques for a better quality photo.  I suppose I lack disciple and never paid attention to all the technical aspects.  Heh.  I think that's what frustrates some friends ;)

Today was spent finishing up a website.  All I need is the final approval and it will be ready to go.  I actually didn't spend time on sweepstakes today, so I have nothing to report just yet.  I will get to that now.

Day 013 / 365 -It's A Beautiful Day

#013

Yesterday and today were really warm.  Is it really still winter here?  I feel like we've had such a mild winter, I don't think we should even call it winter.  We barely got hit when the crazy winter storms took over the east and west coast.  I guess I should be thankful for that!

I spent today finishing up the rest of the website that I've been working on and just have "Instructions" to type up and I will be all done!  Yay.  I also went out and watched Shawn guys practice for their softball game.  I just needed to get out of the house & I snapped some photos showcasing the weather.

Tonight, I watched America's Best Dance Crew.... QUEST CREW FTW!  I'm not hating on Beat Freaks or anything, I actually like them, but their performance was WEAK!  Quest Crew KILLED the show and I really hope they win.  I actually voted for them.  Lol.

Lastly, I actually JUST won this.  I figured I'd try on a whim, since 7 is my lucky number.  I won at 10:37PM :)

Win(s) for today:  $20 Mastercard Gift Card (my 4th one), courtesy of Coca-Cola

Day 012 / 365 - Just Shut Up and Drive

#012

I had the weirdest dream last night.  Without going into detail, it involved Las Vegas, old friends, Peter & his ex, & me turning into a raging jealous b&tch.  I woke up thinking, "What the hell?  Screw this, I'm not going back to that dream" and just decided to wake up and move forward with my day.  Lol.

SOO, I worked on a clients website for a couple of hours and finished up the design.  I received feedback from her and she's very pleased with it!  Now I just have to program the rest of the content & write up a list of instructions for her and I'll be set.

This afternoon, Peter & I cashed in on the FREE sub sandwich at Quiznos deal.  I got the Honey Bacon Club sandwich & it was delicious!  See photo here (don't be fooled.  my sub is naked because I don't eat VEGGIES).  I'd definitely order it again.  After that, we took a drive to Peter's brother's house in Westminster/Broomfield.  We stopped at a bunch of stop lights, so I put my camera on manual focus and snapped the photo of the lights posted above.  The first thing they did when we got there was play FIFA 09 on xbox.  Go figure.  Haha.  Now I just want to relax and play some Street Fighter IV or Call of Duty 4 later.

Win(s) for today:  $20 Mastercard Gift Card (my 3rd one), courtesy of Coca-Cola.

Day 011 / 365 - IHOP & Street Fighter IV

#011

Peter & I took advantage of FREE pancake day at IHOP today. I had a photo of that, but I think there would be an overload of food images here. Lol.  So here is another photo... STREET FIGHTER IV!

I had a $50 gift card to GameStop that I won last week and Peter kept whining about wanting a new game to play.  SO, we traded gift cards (he has a $50 one for a mall) and got Street Fighter For for XBOX.  After trading in a game, taxes, and the gift card, we only had to pay $3.60 out of pocket which isn't too shabby for a brand new game.  If it were me, I would wait till it went on sale of course, but boys just love instant gratification.  Time to get good and kick some boys' asses!

P.S.
Before I forget, before the video game purchas, I bought "The Dark Knight" on DVD for $10.  I got the girl at Best Buy to pricematch Target's price.  At first she was like, "It's selling for $14.99 on their website right now, so I can only give you that price." and I told her, "Really?  Their Ad said $10.  Check their weekly ad, it's on their website."  She found what I was talking about so I was able to buy the movie with my Best Buy gift card.  I have over $100s worth of gift cards, so I buy random things here and there from them.  Haha.  I  never watched The Dark Knight before, so I'm hoping it lives up to the hype!

Day 010 / 365 - Working Day

#010

I spent a good deal of the day doing work on websites so I didn't really have time to do anything else. After I was done with my work, I just caught up on my sweepstakes. Nothing else eventful happening tonight. I just made some Crescent Dogs (pig-in-blanket) because I've been craving it and it is SO delicious. Thanks to Cyndi for making it during the Superbowl.

The photo above is from early morning last night.  I haven't taken a self-portrait in a while.  Mmmm.. MAC make-up :)  Time to eat.

Day 009 / 365 - Dinner & a Movie

#009

OK, I'll admit.. this one is being posted WAY late, 4 hours past the deadline, but I did take this yesterday ;) I blame my lateness on camera-whore syndrome and late night Call of Duty 4 sessions. Yes, camera whore. I have no shame in that.

Anywho, the title pretty much is deceiving. It was more like a movie & a dinner. It was cute because after Peter got off of work he called me and said, "Do you want to go on a date?"  Haha.  We watched Slumdog Millionaire.  I liked it!  Though, I have to admit that I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.  I feel like everyone hyped it up so much that I expected to much and therefore, set myself up for the letdown.  Peter felt the same, but we liked it nonetheless.  Who doesn't love a story of triumph over adversity and undying love?  Haha.

After the movie, we went to Olive Garden for some dinner.  I had the dish pictured above.  I can't remember the name of it, but it was ravioli stuffed with 4 cheeses with shrimp.  I always favor seafood dishes over anything else.  The sauce had a strange tinge to it that I kind of didn't like, but it's still a not bad dish.  I'm actually finishing up the rest of it right now since I'm so hungry.  Probably not a good decision since I'll way up extremely hungry.  Ahh.  That is all.

Day 008 / 365 - Lazy Days & Gyoza

#008

I am a gyoza fiend.  I had it twice today for brunch and dinner.  Dipping it in a sauce mixed with shoyu, white vinegar, & sesame oil makes it 10x better!   I could probably eat this all day, everyday.

In other news, today was pretty slow day.  I just stayed home and ended up waking up really late since I couldn't sleep during the night.  I just did a handful of website work and then vegged out on sweepstakes.  I managed to win a candy bar tonight, but that's about it for now.  Weekends are usually slow for sweeps.  I'll probably be doing the same exact thing tomorrow :)

Day 007 / 365 - Cold Day In Greeley

It is a completely cold and dreary day. The winds have kicked up to 30-40mph wind gusts as reflected in the movement of the tree branches and gray skies.  I would have liked to stay outside and perfect the shot, but I left my tripod inside and I was freezing!

Today, I caught up on some much needed sleep with the exception of Teri calling me at 10AM to ask for the song title he heard in my car, "Natasha Bedingfield- Pocket Full of Sunshine."  Haha.  I managed to sell one of my Wet Seal dresses that I never used via Craigslist.  She's actually the same girl that bought my coat from me a couple weeks back.  I just hope it fits her since she declined to try it on!  I also managed to take advantage of the FREE 20 4 x 6 photos at Walgreens deal.  They're starting to print on much cheaper paper these days.  Perhaps it's a sign of the times?  At least it was free :)

The rest of my night will probably entail designing a website, posting pictures, and a trip to the grocery store.  Good day.
